Haunted Prison

Moon rising above the branches of leaves fallen
Its heart in hibernation
Shadows contrasts illumination in between the frozen dahlia pedals
Walking towards the night with a prison around this abandoned building full of melancholy
The voices entered my head of disintegration
A ceremony of masked beings observing my every move as I walk towards the door
My hand turning the iron handle
I enter...
My footsteps against the worn grain
Awakening the entities vacancy
Cold fills the air as my breath fills the gaps
Walking the steps between my world and theirs
All I see are shadows of despair
Heaviness in my eyes
Whispering of the souls passed on taking me away
My voice unable to scream
Forever in prison

Pedals In The Breeze

Ever feel like closing your eyes is the way to find peace?
Floating up and down
Above the mountain tops
Examining life below
Flying like an eagle with its wings gliding against your fingertips
Electricity in a stand still away from silence
Vibrating back and forth controlled by meditation
A cool aura surrounding your soul
Vibrating chimes against the soothing air
Cherry blossoms whispering from the subtle spring breeze
Its pedals catching God's hand
Dusting this small road
Paving the way to go
My body left behind
Waves erasing pain with peace

I shot this on my last trip to Shenandoah last October, and I wanted to try something different with my editing, and combine colors with layering techniques to achieve this effect into HDR in @photoshop .

Star Seeker Edit in Photoshop

Here is the process of elimination with my piece, Star seeker I just posted from start to finish. This video in total was 4 hours and 30 minutes of footage compressed into one minute for instagram Lots of deleting and going back and forth but I always had they vision for the theme. Below is the short poem and description for this piece. I used photoshop and adobe premiere to edit alongside LightRoom

Down this road of mountains clouds and sky, I will forever look past the stars to find your beating heart waiting. The feeling of loneliness, nevermore.

Description: The theme here in this photograph is about love and separation. For people who are hopeless romantics, and for those who are distanced, but never feel loss of those people who've affected them in such a way that love will never fade away.
I wanted to challenge myself and edit a photographic art piece, because it's been a good while since my last, and wanted to get back at it with layering and painting in photoshop
